Planning to Design a website for your Client?

posted in Uncategorized |

To succeed in using creative design and technology, the web designer must understand how users interact with websites and how that might be different from how they interact with print or video media. To keep the interest of users of web sites, the content must be broken down into smaller pieces, interspersed with key words and illustrations. It’s best to break it down into one screenfull of text and graphics. This makes it easier for the user to move around the page

Users are more interested in content than they are in design. What matters the most is the information and not the cosmetic details of the site. The user will scan the content for information that he is looking for.,He or she requires instant gratification and an obvious method of finding the information they need. The arrangement of the content should be intuitive and self explanatory and should require as little work from the user as possible. Above all, the site must be user-friendly.

Some sites use guidelines such as buttons and other attention-getting methods that can guide the user quickly to the information he is looking for. A user will not read large blocks of text and keywords make that unnecessary.
